Gujarat Gas Company falls on turning ex-dividend today

The stock has down 6% to Rs 284 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Gujarat Gas Company has dipped 6% to Rs 284 in early trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after turning ex-dividend today.

The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on November 12, 2013, had declared the payment of interim dividend of Rs 9 per equity share of Rs 2 each.

The stock opened at Rs 297 and touched a low of Rs 283 so far on BSE. A combined 16,392 shares have changed hands on the counter till 1025 hours on BSE and NSE.
