HT Media surges as Rakesh Jhunjhunwala acquires stake

HT Media has surged nearly 5% to Rs 80.90 after Rakesh Jhunjhunwala bought 1.5 million shares in the company though open market.
On February 28, Rare Enterprises, the investment arm of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, acquired 1.5 million shares representing 0.64% stake in the media firm at a price of Rs 71.25 via bulk deal on BSE, exchange data showed. The names of the seller are not disclosed by the company.
The stock opened at Rs 81.05 and touched a high of Rs 82.80 on the BSE. A combined 1.54 million shares have changed hands on the counter so far on the BSE and NSE.
