Mentha oil declines 0.7% on profit-booking

Increased arrivals from Chandousi fuelled the downtrend

Mentha oil futures for January declined by Rs 8.90, or 0.7%, to Rs 1,255.40 per kg in 124 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract traded lower by Rs 6.40, or 0.5%, to Rs 1,267.10 per kg in 693 lots.

Amid profit-booking by speculators and weak industrial demand affected the tarde.

Increased arrivals from Chandousi in Uttar Pradesh fuelled the downtrend in mentha oil prices.
