Orchid Chemical surges on heavy volumes
The stock of pharmaceutical company has rallied 41% in past two trading sessions compared to 2% rise in BSE 500 index.
Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has surged 18% to Rs 82.25, extending its previous day’s rally on back of heavy volumes on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
As many as a combined 12.67 million shares representing 11.4% free-float equity of the company have already changed hands on the counter till late noon deals against an average 1.2 million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on BSE and NSE.
