Saria strengthens on pick up in construction activity

Saria prices rose Rs 200 per tonne in wholesale steel market today on pick up in construction activity.

Traders said fresh buying by stockists on pick up in construction activity pushed up the wholesale saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,800, Rs 41,500 and Rs 40,200 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to 38,050 per tonne.
