Sensex down 360pts; Tata Steel slips 5%

After managing a slight pull back on Tuesday, the Sensex today opened 130 points lower at 14,040.

The Sensex has started slipping and is now at 13,809, down 360 points.

Sterlite and Tata Steel have slipped 5% each to Rs 565 and Rs 379, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates has declined 4% to Rs 198. Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro have shed around 3.5% each to Rs 75 and Rs 1,451, respectively.

HDFC, DLF and ACC have dropped 3% each to Rs 2,290, Rs 299 and Rs 740, respectively.

Sun Pharma and Hindustan Unilever are the marginal gainers.
