Sensex down over 300pts; ICICI Bank slumps 9%

The Sensex is now down 339 points at 12,763.
ICICI Bank has plunged over 9% to Rs 510. Jaiprakash Associates has slumped 7% to Rs 113.
Tata Motors has tumbled 5.8% to Rs 352, and DLF has dropped nearly 5% to Rs 351.
Satyam and Reliance Communications have slipped over 4% each to Rs 308 and Rs 333, respectively.
SBI, Sterlite and Maruti have shed around 4% each at Rs 1,377, Rs 430 and Rs 655, respectively.
TCS and HDFC have declined over 3.5% each to Rs 652 and Rs 2,014, respectively.
Infosys, Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel are down 3.3% each at Rs 1,400, Rs 446 and Rs 751, respectively.
Hindustan Unilever has surged 3% to Rs 260.
The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,232 stocks traded so far, 1,818 have declined, 370 have advanced and 44 are unchanged.
