Tata Steel has zoomed nearly 9% to Rs 222, and Hindalco has soared over 5% to Rs 55.
Ranbaxy and Jaiprkash Associates have surged over 4% each to Rs 165 and Rs 89, respectively.
Reliance Communications and SBI have moved up around 3% each to Rs 174 and Rs 1,125, respectively.
ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro and ACC have gained 2.5% each at Rs 384, Rs 677 and Rs 574, respectively.
Tata Motors, Sterlite and DLF are up around 2% each at Rs 176, Rs 375 and Rs 179, respectively.
