The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 18 points at 14,262.
Hindalco has surged 3% to Rs 133. Sterlite has gained 2.3% at Rs 615.
Infosys, Reliance Communications (RCom) and ACC have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 1,689, Rs 404 and Rs 557, respectively.
Reliance is up 1% at Rs 2,233.
NTPC has plunged over 3% to Rs 168. Grasim and Larsen & Toubro have shed 1.7% each at Rs 1,932 and Rs 2,584, respectively.
BHEL and ONGC have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 1,645 and Rs 995, respectively.
Maruti is down over 1% at Rs 611.
