The NSE Nifty is up 31 points at 5,068.
DLF has surged over 4% to Rs 678. BHEL has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,834.
Cipla has gained nearly 3% at Rs 232. ICICI Bank, Jaiprakash Associates and NTPC have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 886, Rs 239 and Rs 199, respectively.
ACC and Larsen & Toubro have added around 2% each to Rs 818 and Rs 2,901, respectively.

HDFC has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,526. Tata Motors, ITC and ONGC are up 1.5% each at Rs 632, Rs 212 and Rs 1,045, respectively.
Bharti Airtel, Reliance Energy, Tata Steel and Grasim are up around 1% each at Rs 864, Rs 1,360, Rs 785 and Rs 2,670, respectively.
TCS has slumped over 9% to Rs 900. Satyam has plunged 4.7% to Rs 437. Wipro has shed 4% to Rs 435, and Infosys has dropped over 3% to Rs 1,594.
Ranbaxy has slipped over 2% to Rs 488. Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti are down over 1% each to Rs 631 and Rs 759, respectively.
Out of 2,629 stocks traded so far, 1,513 have advanced, 1,052 have declined and 64 are unchanged.
