The Sensex is now up 266 points at 14,844.
The NSE Nifty is up 82 points at 4,477.
DLF has zoomed 7.5% to Rs 552. ICICI Bank has soared 6.6% to Rs 683, and HDFC Bank has surged 6% to Rs 1,176.
Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 6% to Rs 551. Maruti has gained 5% at Rs 601.
ACC has moved up 4.6% to Rs 613, and Grasim has added 4% to Rs 1,970.
SBI has advanced 4% to Rs 1,569. Tata Motors and Reliance Infrastructure have gained 3.5% each at Rs 410 and Rs 1,037, respectively.

BHEL and NTPC have moved up 3% each to Rs 1,766 and Rs 180, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates has advanced 2.4% to Rs 179. Wipro, HDFC, ONGC and Hindustan Unilever are up around 2% each at Rs 440, Rs 2,418, Rs 1,000 and Rs 238, respectively.
Sterlite has plunged 6.7% to Rs 582. Tata Steel and Tata Power have tumbled around 3% each to Rs 672 and Rs 1,084, respectively.
Ranbaxy is down 1.3% at Rs 517.
Out of 2,668 stocks traded so far, 1,752 have advanced, 835 have declined and 81 are unchanged.
