Thymol rises on short supply

Thymol prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on account of firm demand from consuming units amid short supply.

Thymol prices rose by Rs 10 to settle at Rs 470 per kg.

Marketmen said apart from good demand from consuming units, tight supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up thymol prices on the wholesale chemical market.
