Mahindra to launch Centuro NXT this year

Mahindra had showcased the Centuro with disc brakes at the 2014 Auto Expo and since then the company is now looking at upgrading its motorcycle this year. The launch of the Centuro facelift will be coming in the first half of the financial year 2016.

Mahindra will adding an option of front disc brakes and of course there will a new set of graphics and some other cosmetic upgrades on the bike. There is already the Centuro XT variant, now there will even be the Centuro NXT that will be launched this year. There were other names that Mahindra had finalised too like the Centuro Rockstar and the Centuro Disc Brake. Mahindras Centuro has been doing well for the company since its launch with the Pantero.

The Mahindra Centuro at the moment is priced at Rs 54,000 (on-road). This will be increased by about Rs 2,000 for the disc brakes. Mahindra is likely to introduce some more features on the Centuro. The Mahindra Gusto is doing well and is far ahead of its competition in terms of the equipment that it offers. Mahindra is likely to increase its scooter market share with the recently bought stake in Peugeot Scooters.

Mahindra has plans to introduce more scooters and increase its footprint in the scooter segment as its range of bikes is doing well too. There is a good chance the company will be introducing some of the Peugeot scooters in India very soon. There is a good possibility of the Pantero also getting an upgrade along with the Centuro in the coming few months. Mahindra Two Wheelers is working on getting a lot of new products in the coming few years.
