The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have arrested 10 offenders in connection with an insurance fraud from Delhi and Lucknow.
Confirming the arrest, Joint Commissioner of Police (CCS) T. Prabhakar said police also seized Rs. 7.3 lakh cash, 37 mobile phones, 11 hard disks and 11 registers from Americ Solutions office in Kirti Nagar in Delhi.
"The offenders had taken contacts of several policy holders whose policies had discontinued, and started contacting them and promised them to provide them higher returns. They have collected a lot of money from policy holders," he said.
"We received a complaint from one of the victims after he realised that this is fraud," he added.
