Three houses in Thanmandi area of Rajouri were hit by a huge landslide after heavy rains lashed on for the second consecutive day in the area.
A huge landmass came down on these houses from behind and all three houses collapsed with 13 people inside these houses buried under the landslide.
While the Army came to the rescue instantly, no one was rescued alive even after six hours of hard work. Bodies of all 13 people had been recovered.
There has been a relentless downpour in all of Jammu state with Poonch and Rajouri being the worst hit areas.
Nearly 36 People have so far died in different incidents in last two days in the Jammu region.
