25 kg drugs seized from PoK borne trucks in J-K

The police in Baramulla on Friday seized 25 kilograms of narcotic drugs from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) borne trucks near the Line of Control (LoC).

The police acted after receiving a tip-off about the movement of the trucks. They conducted a search in one of trucks and during that the police recovered drugs, suspected to be Heroine.

The drugs were hidden in boxes purportedly to contain mercantile goods.

Driver named Syed Yousuf was immediately taken into custody and is being questioned by the police.

Meanwhile, the search is still going on in the area.
