Rapper 50 Cent, who recently mocked a 19-year-old autistic working at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, has offered an apology to him by donating 100,000 dollars to an autism charity, Autism Speaks.
In a now-deleted video, the 40-year-old singer poked fun at Andrew Farrell by saying, "Look at him. What kind of s**t do you think he took before he got to work today? He high as a motherf**ker right here in the airport. Pupils dilated - the new generation is f**king crazy," TMZ.com reports.
In a statement, the rapper said, "I want to turn this misunderstanding into an understanding. There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support."
While donating the generous amount, the 'Just a Lil Bit' hit-maker said, "I am calling on my fellow musicians, actors, entertainers and all others who may not have fully considered this cause to join together to help in any way they can."
The airport employee, Farrell, suffers from autism, Asperger's Syndrome and severe hearing loss.
