AAP's Hari Nagar MLA Jagdeep Singh was on Sunday arrested and later released on bail on charges of assaulting a contractor.
Joint Commissioner of Police (southwest) Deependra Pathak confirmed this to ANI.
"Hari Nagar AAP MLA Jagdeep Singh was arrested today, and later released on bail," said Pathak.
Singh had allegedly assaulted the contractor on May 21.
