Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nupur Sharma, who accused an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) worker of manhandling her outside a polling booth, today alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party stood for 'Anti Aurat Party'.

"After casting my vote, I have been going from to booth to booth. An AAP worker was promoting the party within 100 meters of the booth. When I told him to stop influencing people as the time for campaigning was over, he did not listen to me and instead started misbehaving," said Sharma, who is contesting against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi Assembly constituency.

"When I approached the police, he took off the party sweatshirt that he was wearing and hid it. When my sister tried to raise her voice against it, he pushed her. 'Anti Aurat Party' should give justification to this," she added.

Kejriwal had resigned after 49 days in office, which led to the imposition of central rule and eventually the fresh elections being held today.
