Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will today embark on his two-day working visit to India, during which he will hold discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a wide range of matters of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Modi will also host a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
During the visit, President Ghani will also interact with business community and deliver an address at a prominent think tank in New Delhi.
"The upcoming visit will provide an opportunity to continue the close and frequent consultations between the two friendly neighbours, including at the highest level. Such interaction is the hallmark of their strategic partnership and has guided the strengthening of all-round cooperation between the two countries," the release added.
