Pakistan swashbuckling all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been bought by St Kittis-Nevis for 150,000 US dollars in the Caribbean Premier League 2015 auction on Friday.
Afridi was the most expensive Pakistani player at the inaugural auction for the 2015 edition and was preferred by six different franchises.
Other Pakistani players bought at the auction included Shoaib Malik at 100,000 US dollars by Barbados Tridents, Sohail Tanvir at 80,000 dollars by St Kittis-Nevis and Kamran Akmal at 30,000 US dollars by Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, the Express Tribune reported.
Veteran international players like Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga, Jacques Kallis and Ross Taylor have also been chosen for the league.
