New Delhi [India], April 10 (ANI): Good news for all the Gippy Grewal fans!
The 'Mirza - The Untold Story' star is all set to step in to the world of Bollywood with Nikhil Advani's 'Lucknow Central,' alongside Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty.
During an exclusive conversation with ANI, Gippy spilled the beans on his big Bollywood break and said he is very excited about it. "I have just completed shooting of 'Lucknow Central.' It's a very big film. It's a Viacom film and will be releasing on 15th September. The movie features Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty and Ronit Roy," he said.
The Punjabi superstar will be seen in the pivotal role and the 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' actor will portray the role of a prisoner in the film.
The 'Carry On Jatta' actor had earlier shared a poster of the film on his Twitter handle, writing, "Blessed..Working with very talented @FarOutAkhtar @nikkhiladvani @ranjit_tiwari @manavvij @deepakdobriyal @EmmayEntertain @AndhareAjit." Though the 34-year-old singer first ventured into Hindi film industry with 2015's 'Second Hand Husband', the film could not do well at the Box Office.
On a related note, the 'Singh vs Kaur' actor was today spotted in the national capital, promoting his upcoming wedding based Punjabi film 'Manje Bistre,' along with actress Sonam Bajwa.
Directed by Baljit Singh Deo, the film revolves around a Punjabi wedding, with the crisp of romance and comedy. The flick is all set to hit theaters on April 14.
