Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh will visit Maharashtra on Saturday to take an extensive tour of areas affected by recent heavy rain and hailstorm.
A team of senior officials and state government officials will accompany the Minister.
Minister of State for Agriculture, Mohanbhai Kundaria is already in Gujarat along with a team of officials to assess the loss of crops caused due to heavy rain and hailstorm.
Minister of State for Agriculture, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan will also visit the affected areas of Utter Pradesh today along with officials from the Ministry to assess the loss of crops due to heavy rain and hailstorm.
