The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) on Monday announced its first list of six candidates for the Bihar Assembly polls.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had earlier announced that his party would contest the polls and focus on the overall development of the Seemanchal region.
He had also clarified that there will be no pre-poll alliance.
The term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. The polls will be held in five phase on October 12, 16, 28, November 1 and 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
