A shocking footage of the public execution of a woman accused of adultery has reportedly been posted online by al-Qaeda.
According to Mirror, in the video, the Muslim woman, dressed in a black robe and hijab (headscarf), is forced to kneel down with her hands behind her back.
The video shows the woman surrounded by masked jihadi fighters, many of whom can be seen filming the execution on their phones.
Before the woman is shot at point blank range, the executioner preaches to the watching crowd and explains that the she has been convicted by a Sharia court of being unfaithful to her husband and for allegedly running a brothel.
The video has drawn condemnation from across the globe and rival militant groups, including the Islamic State (IS).
The masked fighters are believed to be from Jabhat al-Nusra - an Al-Qaeda affiliated group based in Syria, the report said.
