Alec Baldwin has said that he doesn't care about controversies after working in show-biz for the last 33 years.
The 55-year-old actor recently sent out a series of violent tweets- which were aimed at a journalist, who claimed his wife Hilaria was using her phone during James Gandolfini's funeral.
He told the Independent that when after working for 20-25 years, you reach that point where you realise this is not the most important thing in your life.
Baldwin, who played a TV network boss opposite Tina Fey's show producer in 30 Rock, said that the main reason to why he wanted to do the sitcom was to have a reliable schedule to visit his daughter -Ireland- in Los Angeles.
The 17-year-old Ireland stems from Baldwin's marriage to Kim Basinger, which ended in divorce in 2002.
