Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah and senior leader Lal Krishna Advani have reached Jammu to attend the oath taking ceremony of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed here on Sunday.
Haryana Chief Minister M L Khattar will also be present on the occasion.
Mufti, who will be heading a PDP-BJP coalition government in the state, will take oath at the General Zorawar Auditorium of Jammu University.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of both the PDP and BJP, besides other dignitaries, would be present at the venue.
The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, N.N. Vohra, will administer the oath of office and secrecy.
BJP leader Nirmal Singh is expected to be named as the deputy chief minister of the state.
A common minimum programme the two parties worked out to come into coalition would also be made public today.
