Anthony Hopkins has recently admitted that he repents reprising his role as Dr. Hannibal Lecter after 'The Silence of the Lambs' came on floors.
The 78-year-old actor, who even won an Academy Award for his role as the cannibalistic serial killer in the 1991 original, said that he it once, made a mistake of doing it twice and three times, reports News.com.au.
Hopkins later appeared as Lecter again in the 2001 sequel of the hit, 'Hannibal,' and the 2002 prequel, 'Red Dragon.'
When asked if he'd ever consider playing Dr. Lecter one more time, the 'Solace' star said, "No, I don't want to do that. Done with that."
The character of Dr. Hannibal Lecter was created by author Thomas Harris, who has written four books starring the creepy character.
