Apple introduced its 'Screen Time' restrictions a few weeks ago to ensure kids do not spend more time on gadgets than permitted. Now, it seems kids are outsmarting these restrictions.
Parents have reported about the ways their kids were getting around the limitations set on the phone and app use on a Reddit thread.
One of the hacks is when the screen time runs out, the child goes to App Store and downloads a previously installed, but removed, game through the cloud icon and it works without limitations.
The first revelation led to many parents sharing their own experience with their smarter kids. One of the kids would send himself YouTube links in iMessage to watch videos which can be watched beyond the time set for the YouTube app.
