Family of late Hollywood singer Aretha Franklin has planned an open casket ceremony for the 'Queen of Soul'. The ceremony will be held at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit city, reported TMZ.
However, no official date has been set for the ceremony. Aretha was a frequent visitor to the museum.
The singer passed away at the age of 76 following a prolonged illness on August 16 at her residence in Detroit.
She was suffering from pancreatic cancer and was in a grave condition from last few years. The singer is well known for hits like 'Respect', 'Natural Women', and 'I say a little prayer'.
