Army jawan killed in IED blast in Poonch

A soldier of the Indian Army was killed while another jawan got injured in a blast in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector on Saturday.

Earlier this week, two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants were killed in an encounter in Awantipora region of Pulwama district.

Over 200 ceasefire violations were recorded on the Line of Control (LoC) last year.
