Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has described Robin van Persie's recent move from Manchester United to Turkish giant Fenerbahce as 'Premier League loss'.
The Dutchman, who scored 48 goals in his 86 appearances for United, signed a 4.7million pounds deal with the Turkish football club.
Wenger, who had coached Van Persie for eight years at Arsenal before the latter's move to Old Trafford in 2012, said that the Dutchman is a loss for English football because he is an exceptional player, the Daily Express reported.
Heaping more praise on the striker, Wenger said that Van Persie has an exceptional technique and was one of the best footballers he had managed.
The Arsenal manager added that although he doesn't know the reason behind the striker's departure, he insisted that Van Persie is a loss to the Premier League.
