Arsenal keeper's dad arrested on rape suspicion

The father of Arsenal's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of raping a 30-year-old woman.

Maciej Szczesny, a goalkeeping coach and a former player, was held in a jail in Poland where he was interrogated for two days, after the woman made her allegations to the police, The Sun reports.

His son was however, unavailable for comment, the report further said.

According to the report, Szczesny senior was a top Polish goalkeeper and the only player to win the national championship with four different clubs.
