Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely and party leader J.P Agarwal cast their votes in the capital on Thursday.
While Arvinder Singh cast his vote at a polling booth in Azadnagar, Agarwal did the same from Paranthe Waali Gali in Chandni Chowk.
Earlier, the third phase voting for the Lok Sabha elections started with as many as 1419 candidates contesting for 91 seats in 11 states.
Voting is underway in Chhattisgarh (1), Haryana (10), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Jharkhand (5), Kerala (20), Madhya Pradesh (9), Maharashtra (10), Odisha (10), Uttar Pradesh (10), Bihar (6), Delhi (7), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (1), Chandigarh (1) and Lakshadweep (1).
The fight in Delhi will be mainly between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress and new entrant the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The elections in Delhi will decide fate of 150 candidates who have filed their nominations including 58 independents.
Key candidates contesting the polls in Delhi include Law Minister Kapil Sibal, the BJP's Delhi unit chief Harshvardhan and the AAP's Ashutosh. Other major candidates contesting the elections include Sandeep Dikshit (Congress), Rajmohan Gandhi (AAP), Jai Prakash Agarwal (Congress), actor Manoj Tiwari (BJP), Union Minister Krishna Tirath (Congress), Ramesh Bidhuri (BJP), former Union Minister Ajay Maken (Congress), and Meenakshi Lekhi (BJP).
The polling started at 7 a.m. in the morning and will go till 6 p.m. in the evening. Polling will be held in 11,763 polling stations. More than 1.2 crores people will be exercising their right to vote.
