Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja produced a scintillating performance as South Africa were bundled out for a meagre 79 on the second day of the third Test here at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on Thursday.
Resuming at yesterday's score of 11-2, the South African batters were unable to face the spin trio and were dismissed in the first session of the second day itself.
Meanwhile, middle-order batsman JP Duminy was the lone survivor who stayed at the crease for a while, scoring 35 runs for the visitors.
Indian off-spinner Ashwin remained dominated over the visitors as he grabbed five wickets for his side while Jadeja bagged four wickets. Amit Mishra also chipped in with one wicket.
At lunch, India are at 7-0 in their second innings, with openers Murali Vijay (five) and Shikhar Dhawan (two) on the crease, having an overall lead of 143.
