LegalVision, an Australian legal service provider has reportedly become the first legal organization to allow its customers to pay for services with Bitcoin.

A decentralized digital currency, Bitcoin can be used by users to transfer money on the internet sans the involvement of bank, allowing them to transact with each other directly.

Lachlan McKnight, LegalVision chief executive said that he was interested in using the crypto-currency because it fitted with the online firm's emphasis on efficiency and innovation, the PC World reported.

McKnight said that it made perfect sense for the fraternity to start using digital currency as it provided online legal advice and documents.
