Three Indian Channels will now be able to continue their broadcast in Bangladesh as a High Court on Sunday rejected a writ petition challenging the legality of airing the channels in the country.

The bench comprising of Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury and Justice JBM Hassan passed the order, reports the Dhaka Tribune.

A petition was filed by Lawyer Syeda Shaheen Ara Laily in October 2014, seeking a directive from the High Court to stop airing Star Jalsha, Star Plus and Zee Bangla in Bangladesh.
