Yoga guru Ramdev on Tuesday refused to accept the status of cabinet minister given to him by the Haryana Government and said that he would like to work and carry it forward by being away from politics.
"With due respect I refused to accept the offer, would like to work and carry my work forward by being away from politics," he said.
"Whatever work I have done regarding yoga and ayurved, never did it with any greed or profit," he added.
The Haryana Government had on April 13 announced that it would give Baba Ramdev the status of cabinet minister. He was earlier made the state's brand ambassador to promote yoga and ayurveda.
