The day did not end well for the Indians as West Indies remained on course to win their second World Twenty20 title after thumping hosts India by seven wickets in a pulsating semi final contest at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Blog to post his feelings on this defeat, but with some positivity to it.

"A loss .. and the heart and mind sinks .. we are defeated by the Windies in the semi final of the WC T20I and suddenly the energy drops several levels ..," he wrote.

"But soon after, there is a rush of understanding, an appreciation of the efforts of the team, praise for the star players, and a 'bad day' at the pitch when 3 catches turn out to be ruled 'no balls' ..," Big-B added.

Appreciating all the efforts of Team India, the 'Wazir' actor finally said, "India Team is a deadly package .. of this there is no doubt .. somedays just turn out to be different .. life cannot always obey what your mind wishes .."

The actor's blog post last night spoke about the busy day he had yesterday. Other than condoling the tragic flyover collapse in Kolkata, he spoke about the photo shoot for Cine Blitz and book launch of eminent journalist and writer Mayank Shekhar.

"A photo shoot for Cine Blitz as it celebrates 42 years of its presence. It was born in front of me, by some very enterprising friends, now having sold off and given it to others for its running .," he wrote.

"And then there is the book release of eminent journalist and writer Mayank Shekhar, one who has possessed a razor sharp wit and a pen dipped in the purest form of 'acid' .. it was inevitable to attend ..," Big-B added.
