Garment makers, transport vehicles owners, insurers and bankers will observe a hunger strike on Saturday over a demand to end the opposition-led political limbo in Bangladesh.
According to the Daily Star, the hunger strike will be staged in front of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
It will start at 11 a.m. and will go on until the evening.
A joint extraordinary general meeting called by the BGMEA, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association took a decision in this regard on Wednesday.
