The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is leading in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) elections, has registered victory in 15 seats so far.
The Congress has won in seven seats followed by the Janata Dal (Secular) which has registered victory in six seats.
A total of 1,121 candidates are in the fray for the 198 wards of the BBMP.
Congress, BJP, JD(S), MIM, SP, BSP, CPI, CPI (M), along with good number of independent candidates are contesting the BBMP elections.
The BBMP elections were held across 6,733 polling stations on August 22.
