Big B makes TV debut with 'Yudh'

After marking his mark with reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan is ready to debut in a television series 'Yudh'. Big B and the creative team of 'Yudh' unveiled the first look of the serial in the national capital today.

Speaking at the event, the 71-year old actor said: I have been waiting for some years to be provided by an opportunity to act in a television serial, and with this in mind, I discussed with Endemol and our thoughts coincided. We went ahead with the view, and they had an idea which I really liked, and then, we decided to move ahead."

"The show presents mega Bollywood star Mr. Amitabh Bachchan for the very first time as a protagonist in a fiction show on Indian television. 'Yudh' sets itself apart from other fiction shows, and we believe it will set a new benchmark for our future endeavors as well as achieve strong results for our channel," N P Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Multi Screen Media said.

The show will be helmed by ace film maker Anurag Kashyap as the creative director along with Shoojit Sircar who has been roped in as creative consultant. (ANI)
