'Big Little Lies' win big at 2018 #CriticsChoice awards

HBO blockbuster drama 'Big Little Lies' was the biggest TV winner at the 2018 Critics' Choice awards as the series picked up four trophies at the event.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the series picked up best limited series, while Kidman's costars Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern took home best supporting actor nods.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman took home the trophy for 'Best Actress in a Limited Series' at the event at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Kidman has thanked 'all of her children' after winning the award. "I wanna thank all of my children who show me so much love," said Kidman.

This comes after the star got slammed for failing to mention her two adopted children, Isabella and Connor with ex-Tom Cruise, at the Golden Globes.

Dressed in a beautiful pink gown, she accepted the speech "on behalf of all the women in this cast."

In her speech, the 50-year-old-actress added, "I love being an actor. Thank you for letting me do it all the way through to this age and beyond. It really is an incredible honor."

She also paid gushing tribute to her Big Little Lies co-stars and explained, "Every actor in this room knows you are only as good as the other actors you work with".

The Australian actress played domestic abuse victim Celeste Wright in the drama alongside Reese Witherspoon.

The series, which co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Laura Dern, also won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Limited Series.
