The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth wing took to the streets to protest against the CPIM, CPI and the Congress for their stand on the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) row and accused them of siding with anti-India forces.

According to the protesters, the JNU students in the name of 'Right to Expression' were chanting 'anti-national slogans and giving anti-national speech' during last week's protest in the varsity and to which the CPIM, CPI and Congress were fanning for getting political mileage.

"What does right to expression mean? It gives the right to speak what one dislike or like. Maybe you dislike a person or strategy but can you raise question on our national integration or support that. We protest this type of incident and it's a shame for the entire nation," said BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty.

"It proves that those against the independence of India that is the CPIM and CPI parties which right from the starting of our nationalist movement were against India's independence. Even when China attacked India they supported China, they supported the division of India and Pakistan. They support the Maoist movement for division of India...... now the anti-nationalist approach of CPIM and Congress has become clear before everyone."

The protest rally started from the BJP state office at Krishnanagar and ended at Colonel chowmouni.
