Bopanna- Rojer crash out of Barcelona Open

Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna and his partner Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands have been knocked out of the Barcelona Open after suffering straight-sets defeat in the quarter-finals of the men's doubles event.

The fourth-seeded pair was beaten by un-seeded pair of Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi 6-7 (5-7), 4-6 in a contest that lasted for one hour and 11 minutes.

Huey and Mirnyi will now face Bryan Brothers in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Spanish maestro Rafael Nadal will face 12th seed Fabio Fognini of Italy in the quarterfinal clash of the men's singles event later today.
