Indian ace shuttler H.S Prannoy produced a dominating performance as he raced into the quarter-finals of the China Masters after notching up a straight game victory over Daren Liew of Malaysia on Thursday.
The seventh-seed took just 33 minutes to thrash his Malaysian opponent 21-10, 21-15 in the third round contest of the men's singles event.
In the women doubles' event, the Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa also stormed into the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Gutta and Ponappa outclassed Chinese Taipei pair of Hsieh Pei Chen and Wu Ti Jung 21-12, 21-12 in the third round that lasted for 28 minutes.
Meanwhile, fourth-seed PV Sindhu will also aim for the quarter-final berth when she will take on Chien Hui Yu of Chinese Taipei later today.
