German tennis legend Boris Becker has stated that he considers himself a better coach than player after guiding world number one Novak Djokovic to his maiden French Open title.
Becker, who has won six Grand Slam titles during his playing career, was hired by Djokovic in 2014 and since then the Serbian has witnessed a meteoric rise.
After capturing his elusive title in Paris, Djokovic became the eighth man in the history of sport to achieve a career Grand Slam and third to hold all four majors simultaneously.
Reflecting on Djokovic's chances of achieving a calendar Grand Slam, the German coach said that they were aware of the historical opportunity and that they would continue to fight for it, Sport24 reported.
Becker also confirmed that Djokovic will participate in the upcoming Rio Olympics.
