Boston has been named as a potential host city for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games by the US Olympic Committee.
Boston Mayor Martin Walsh said that it was an exceptional honor for Boston to be chosen as the US representative in the running for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Independent reported.
Walsh further said that their goal was to host an Olympic and Paralympic games which would be innovative, walkable and hospitable to all.
