Australia Test skipper Steve Smith has surpassed the batting legends Don Bradman and Ricky Ponting record to become the highest run getter by an Australian in a four Test series against India.
With Smith scoring a knock of 71 in the second innings in Sydney Test, he accumulated a massive 769 runs in the ongoing four matches Test series against India, thus surpassing Ponting's mark of 706 runs and Bradman's record of 715, News.com.au reported.
