One infiltrator was reportedly killed on Monday after the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Hiranagar.
The BSF jawans reportedly gunned down a Pakistani intruder at Border Outpost of Karole Krishana on International border in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district last evening.
As per reports from Hiranagar police, the BSF jawan noticed the movement on Zero line last night at 8.30 pm on Karole Krishan post of Hiranagar sector and raised vigil on the border.
The intruder was reportedly shot after he failed to heed warnings to halt his intrusion.
The body has been kept in the Hiranagar Sub District Hospital Mortuary and will be sent for post mortem.
The BSF and the J-K police are also going to start search operations along the border to find out the belongings and some suspected arms or ammunition of the intruder.
